Help...

This next section is about the so called real world...

I really dislike when parents tell kids, especially teens, that they need "to wake up and smell the coffee" or "welcome to the real world". It may astonish you that they already are in the real world. Middle School and High School are the main parts in life that get you ready for the "real world". There are a majority of kids who are 13 and are already in the real world. For instance, some have family problems or are tight on money. Some are more mature than others and understand many things that adults think they don't. Others deal with bullying, loss of a loved one, hanging with the wrong crowd est. There's a lot more that you probably didn't know that they were going through. (This also goes along with criticizing.) I don't intend to tell you how to raise your kids, but i just want to help make things run smoother for you and your family. To sum this para up, don't tell your kids to "wake up" or "welcome to the real world" because for all you know, they could already be there.

Have a great day.
